My daughter died in October 2023. We had her funeral 13th December 2023. It was so good start to finish. The staff had me crying. The level of respect they had. It broke my heart seeing them witness my children say goodbye to their sister. I got presented with a teddy bear at the end of the service. It was so lovely to take something away with me after leaving her there. Couldn't thank them anymore. I visit A LOT and the grounds are so lovely. The building work around the children's area does ruin the peaceful thinking with all the dust it's not nice but obviously can't be helped. My daughter is currently at home with us but when im ready I want her to be at the crematorium for good. It's so well kept. I do enjoy visiting. Thanks for everything
Clare the chapel attendant was very welcoming and obliging making sure I had everything I needed to lead the service I was taking. She made me feel welcomed and at ease along with funeral director Francis from Ginns and Gutteridge Funerals in Long Eaton
After my Mum's cremation we went to Bramcote to spread her ashes. They had found the plot of my grandparents and we were guided by Clare on the day, of which she gave a touching tribute to my mum. The personal service from Paul and Clare was amazing, They really looked after my Dad who was with my Mum for over 60 years. We cannot thank them enough.
The staff are very efficient and good at their jobs. Did a lovely service for my brother and previously my parents. (Not the place to visit often because of the business type so the stars should really reflect what type of businesses are being reviewed.)
Sadly I have been here many times, and even though it is for a sad reason each time I think it only fair to give praise to them. Over the last 40+years, coming here many times, the staff have never failed to be very supportive, helpful, caring, understanding and above all else professional every single time, no matter who you see. The place is easy to get to, has excellent parking facilities, is always clean and well maintained, the Chapels of rest are lovely (not sure how else to put it) with plenty of space and seating for most funerals. There are disabled facilities, toilets and refreshments available, viewing areas and special driveways for the funeral procession. Finally I would like to thank everyone here for making a difficult time easier to bare.
